Above is the photo, taken by Pooks, which got voted to be in the Caring Between the Lines exhibition. Proceeds will go to the charity or non profit of her choice. Pooks has chosen the East Village Arts Collective.  The exhibition will be at The Arts Project, May 7th - 11th. Pooks got accepted into Arts & Humanities at the University of Western Ontario as a part-time student. If all goes as planned, she will begin in the Fall 2013.

On April 21st, 2013 at 2pm, Pooks will be attending the Solidarity Slut Walk at Victoria Park. She will more than likely be taking pictures or videos as the event takes place.  The Slut Walk is a march/ protest to end victim blaming and sex shaming for all bodies.

Above is an acrylic painting done by Pooks, titled "Eve's Forsaken". It will be submitted into The Framing the Phoenix, A Mental Health Exhibition as of today. Submission date is originally set for the 24th, but since Wednesday is the busiest day of her week, she has been given permission to submit earlier. 
The Framing the Phoenix Art Exhibition will be from April 30th, 2013 - May 4th, 2013 at The Arts Project. The opening reception will be April 30th, 2013 from 7:00pm - 10:00pm.  For more information, go to the following link:
