A Clown
I am a clown with a story that is refused to be told
I live along a dirty road, no silver, no gold
Born in a world where people pray to their lord
To me they look like fools as their prayers go on ignored
I’m not ashamed of my opinion
I’m not afraid to walk around looking different
I rebel against the judgment of the amount of money in my pocket
I rebel against the judgment of image
I rebel against the judgment of religion, and all prim and proper
I am here to give the world a lesson
So what if I have differences?!
I’m no different than you are
I’m human
I am a clown that is silent, mellow, very low key
I have temper I hold back, but that’s just me
But how much more can I tolerate if I keep getting treated like a runt?!
One of these days someone will get bitch-slapped, and I’ll call them a cunt
I have been bullied around since I was young
I’ve been called down by so-and-so for being me
I’ve been told I was psycho by the way I appear
I’ve been told I don’t belong anywhere
I’ve been told I am, and always will be nothing
Well, I am here to give the world a lesson
So what if I have differences?!
I am not anymore different than you are
I am human
I see the world filled with racists
Not as in the judgment of skin only
I see the hate in many forms
I see people afraid of anything different
Too blind to see that we are all radiant light within
I am clown that takes pleasure stepping over that line
I don't mind if I scare you
You can tell your god to keep his bread and red wine
I don’t want to be seduced by the greed of your system , or your lame cash
Because I am proud not to fit in
Even though you consider me trash
